SCPTSA + SPS Leadership Meetings

Every month Seattle Council PTSA Board of Directors meets with SPS Superintendent Ben Shuldiner and a few central office directors.

These meetings are a space to foster authentic partnership and collaboration between administrators, educators and parents. Our goal is to build strong relationships built on trust and create space for underrepresented voices in the SPS community can speak truth to power with grace, gain understanding of the SPS decision making process, and together cultivate generative conversation centered on growth and the wellbeing of all students.

Ways PTA Leaders & Community can get involved…

  • Tell us about your PTA & Community. The more info we collect from around the district the better we can advocate for students. Please reach out to executiveboard@scptsa.org to set up a time to chat or feel free to share with us in our Community Question & Feedback Survey.

  • Consider volunteering with SCPTSA. Reach out to any member of our board to talk about ways to get involved or fill out our Community Interest Form and we will reach out to you.

  • Submit an agenda topic. Interested in gaining more insight or understanding on a particular topic? Use our Meeting Request Form to submit a suggestion.
