2026 Legislative Candidate Questionnaire
Seattle Council PTSA
2026 Washington State Legislative
Candidate Questionnaire
Washington State has 49 legislative districts, with each district electing one State Senator (4-year staggered terms) and two State Representatives (2-year terms) for a total of 147 lawmakers. Six of the 49 legislative districts are within Seattle Public Schools (SPS) boundries. As part of our nonpartisan voter education work, we've invited all candidates within these six legislative districts, who are running in 2026 Washington State General Election, to respond to a questionnaire on K-12 education funding and policy. Unopposed candidates were not included.
