Collective Bargaining Agreements 2025–26
Seattle Education Association (SEA) is the union of about 6,000 educators who work for Seattle Public Schools—paraprofessionals, office professionals, substitutes, and certificated teachers.
SEA members come together every few years to bargain their Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA or “contract”) with SPS.
Site-Based Interview Training 2024–25
If you are interested in serving on an upcoming interview team for a SEA-represented position in Seattle Public Schools, please attend a Site-Based Interview training. SPS/SEA site-based interview training is open to all administrators, certificated and classified employees, as well as parents, students, and community representatives. This training will prepare individuals to participate in interview teams to hire for positions that are represented by the Seattle Education Association (SEA) – Certificated, Paraprofessional, and SAEOP employee groups.
Trainings will be held remotely via Microsoft Teams from 4–5 pm:

2026 Dates: Jan 8, Feb 3, Mar 3, Apr 2, May 5, Jun 2

The site-based interview training must be taken once every 3 years. If you are unsure of the date that you took the training, check out the link below that applies to you.
