SCPTSA General Membership Meeting

Join Seattle Council PTSA on Zoom for a General Membership Meeting. All are welcome—you do not need to be a PTA member to attend!  

Our first meeting will focus on community. We know PTAs across the city are building community in many ways.  

  • What’s great about your PTA community? 

  • What does your PTA need help with? 

  • What concerns does your PTA have? 

Let’s come together to share, learn from each other, and find new ways to work together in support of our students and communities. 

We urge each local Seattle PTA to consider sending at least one delegate to this meeting.  

We will be voting on the following at this meeting: 

  • Election of Blaine Parce for Vice President 

  • Approval of the 2025–26 Budget 

  • Approval of the June 2025 Membership Meeting Minutes 

Each local Seattle PTA gets one vote. PTA Presidents are authorized to vote on behalf of their PTA, or they may send a designated delegate. Presidents—if you will be delegating someone to vote, please email secretary@scptsa.org with the name of your PTA, your name, and the name & email of the person who you are delegating to vote on your behalf.

Reunión General de Miembros de la SCPTSA

Nuestra primera reunión se centrará en la comunidad. Sabemos que las PTA de toda la ciudad están construyendo comunidad de muchas maneras.

  • ¿Qué tiene de bueno la comunidad de su PTA?

  • ¿En qué necesita ayuda su PTA?

  • ¿Qué inquietudes tiene su PTA?

Unámonos para compartir, aprender unos de otros y encontrar nuevas maneras de trabajar juntos para apoyar a nuestros estudiantes y comunidades.

Instamos a cada PTA local de Seattle a que considere enviar al menos un delegado a esta reunión.

Votaremos sobre los siguientes temas en esta reunión:

  • Elección de Blaine Parce para Vicepresidente

  • Aprobación del Presupuesto 2025-26

  • Aprobación del Acta de la Reunión de Miembros de junio de 2025

Cada PTA local de Seattle tiene un voto. Los presidentes de las PTA están autorizados a votar en nombre de su PTA o pueden designar a un delegado. Presidentes: si van a delegar a alguien para votar, envíen un correo electrónico a secretary@scptsa.org con el nombre de su PTA, su nombre y el nombre y correo electrónico de la persona a quien delegan para votar en su nombre.
