News from the Washington State PTA:
The deadline to register for the Washington State PTA Legislative Assembly is this Thursday, October 8, by midnight. In addition, in order to be a voting delegate, your local PTA President needs to identify you by Tuesday, October 6, by midnight (each PTA should get at least 4 voting delegates). So if you want to be a voting delegate, please ask your local PTA President to identify you. And feel free to reach out to WSPTA with question at: Support@WAStatePTA.org. You can also email the SCPTSA Legislative Chair at Legchair@scptsa.org.
Advocacy is at the heart of the PTA, so please register for the Legislative Assembly if you can! The registration cost this year is much lower than usual (it is $25) and the event will be virtual.
